The evolution of scientific and technical
mapping during the last decade has been spectacular. Mapping has made a lot of
progress through its new methods as well as its devices and various and
abundant data.
Mapping also takes its performance
from scientific and technical progress. It also takes advantage from the
benefits of computing, optical and space technologies and methodological
quantitative analysis
Likewise, the local geographical
space becomes more and more a subject of preoccupation, because it contains
many specific and complex dynamics, interactions and interrelations.
The goal of this paper is to put
into practice the appropriate methodological mapping based on air photos and
numerical satellite images and the topographical maps, in order to put into
evidence spacial transformations in el Alia area, in
In fact, air-photos and old
topographical maps constitute a milieu and a territorial memory.
Numerical images satellite at very
high resolution brings new insights in spacial
information and a new approach to the complexity of the geographical space.
